During this beautiful, warm summer, perhaps one of the best things to do is hang out with family and friends watching a movie. Even better…the movie is shown outdoors in the park!
For the remainder of July, free movies at various parks will be among the best events in Temecula.
What is Temecula’s Moonlight Movies in the Park?
Every Friday in July, selected parks in Temecula will host an array of fun activities for friends and family. The fun will begin at six in the evening covering a variety of activities including games, music, and arts and crafts; this is definitely a great time to have a lot of summer fun while taking part in family-friendly activities all evening long!

Showing at Moonlight Movies in the Park
After the aforementioned activities, guests can then settle down for the evening to watch one of the various movies on show at each venue. Some of the movies shown at previous Moonlight Movies in the Park events were Dolphin Tale 2, The Boxtrolls, Maleficent, and Big Hero 6. Please note that all the movies shown are rated G, PG, or PG-13, and will be show between 6 pm and 9 pm.
The weekend of July 31st, Paddington will be showing at Harveston Community Park.
What to bring
Those attending are encouraged to come with picnic supplies to make their evening as comfortable and fun as possible. Low back chairs, picnic blankets as well as packed picnic dinners would be great to pack, to be sure you have the best time possible. At the venues, light refreshments will be on sale.
